Slay the Dragon

The Slay the Dragon trail running event is scheduled for June 21, 2025, at Silver Star Mountain Resort near Vernon, British Columbia. Participants can choose from three race distances: 13.6 km, 25 km, and 50 km, each featuring a mix of technical and smooth single-track trails, challenging climbs, and descents. A new addition this year is the "Slay the Baby Dragon" 2.5 km race for children aged 0–12, designed to introduce young runners to trail running in a fun and safe environment. All races start and finish at 123 Shortt St, Silver Star Mountain. Registration is open until June 14, 2025, with early bird pricing available until December 31, 2024. Entry fees include a custom race day T-shirt, racer bib, swag bag, finisher prize, access to fully stocked aid stations, and post-race refreshments.
