Harvest Pumpkin Festival in Armstrong

The 24th Annual Harvest Pumpkin Festival in Armstrong Spallumcheen celebrates the region's agricultural roots with a series of family-friendly activities from October 4 to October 14. Highlights include the Great Pumpkin Weigh-In, where local growers compete for top prizes, alongside a farmers’ market, artisan showcase, food vendors, chainsaw carving demos, and horse-drawn wagon rides. Family Day, held on October 12, features pumpkin sculpting, live music, circus performances, and dairy demonstrations. Kiki the Eco Elf will perform for kids in the Horticulture Building at 1 p.m., coinciding with the Great Pumpkin Launch, where homemade catapults and trebuchets send pumpkins flying towards a target.
