The Downtown Vernon Sunshine Festival, presented by VantageOne Credit Union, is a free annual celebration marking the start of summer by transforming six blocks of Downtown Vernon into an enjoyable, car-free zone. Festival-goers can explore local businesses, enjoy games, meet mascots, listen to live music, shop from numerous vendors, and indulge in diverse foods. Key attractions include a food and music area with food trucks, picnic spots, and a main stage featuring hourly live bands, and a Kids Zone packed with fun activities like face painting, a reptile show, balloon animals, and more.
