The Vernon Towne Theatre

The Vernon Towne Theatre, originally opened in 1929 as a dance hall, later became a beloved cinema with Art Deco styling. Now managed by the Okanagan Screen Arts Society, it hosts diverse events including film screenings, live music, youth nights, and Indigenous Arts evenings, with proceeds supporting arts bursaries and theatre preservation.
